US artist to inspire Christian creatives in Mid Norfolk

Christ John Otto, an American artist and musician with a passion for awakening God’s calling on creative people, will be speaking at the Wings of Worship workshop in East Harling on November 4.

On Saturday, November 4 Christ John Otto, the Founder and Director of Belonging House, will be speaking at a workshop hosted by Wings of Worship, an initiative of Christian singer song writer, Diane Devine, from Attleborough, and her husband Dave.

Dave Devine explains: “The Wings of Worship sessions are geared toward all who are creative, whatever their medium, but will be especially helpful for those who feel their primary vocation is in the creative realm.”

Christ (which rhymes with ‘wrist’) John Otto founded the Belonging House in Boston, USA  which has become a home for creative culture shapers. He holds degrees from Houghton College and Asbury Theological Seminary, and has worked in a variety of media as a freelance artist including decoupage, faux finishing, mural work, sign painting, commercial and retail design, and pastry. He is a classically trained tenor and vocal coach and has written six books.

His teaching is aimed at artists and creative people who sense a call from God to help build a throne for Jesus in the earth.

Dave said: “If you want to know about God’s plan for art and creativity you won’t want to miss hearing the teaching ministry of Christ John Otto.”

The event will take place at 2.15pm – 5.15pm with a £5 entrance cost.

From 5.15pm until 8pm there will be an evening creative space and ministry session for those wanting to stay longer.

The venue is East Harling Old School Hall, School Lane, East Harling, Norwich, NR16 2LU.

A retiring offering will be taken for Christ John Otto's ministry.
