City pastors save NHS cash with Norwich patrols

Norfolk Street Partnership City Pastors are out patrolling the night-time streets of Norwich city centre this Christmas as it is reported that Christian Street Pastors will save the NHS millions of pounds over the festive period.

Premier has reported the NHS will be saved £13million during December by Christian pastors on the streets of city centres around the country diverting drunks away from A&E departments.

Meanwhile, NSP City Pastors are on patrol in Norwich every second and last Saturday of each calendar month (plus some extra days). The other half of the NSP team, the Prayer Pastors pray every weekend and attend the charity's base while the City Pastors are patrolling. Together, they offer compassion, love and support to everyone within the night-time economy of the city.

City Pastors visited the Tunnel of Light next to St Peter Mancroft, pictured above, while out patrolling one night recently.
