Norwich church's answer to British Bake Off

A Norwich church’s answer to the Great British Bake Off is taking place in Thorpe St Andrew next weekend.

Just days after the BBC winner was crowned, Norwich Vineyard is organizing its own Big Bake Event on Saturday, October, 17, to raise funds for Tearfund's No Child Taken anti-trafficking campaign.
The day runs from 9.30am to 3pm and begins with a Bake a Cake competition - bring your cake along for 10am judging - with a note of the ingredients used.
Refreshments will be served, including of course cake and savouries, cakes will be on sale and there will be a DVD showing about the Tearfund campaign.
Organiser Sue Green said: “Come along and enjoy the company of others and some delicious cakes.”
The event will be at The Place community café at 61 Spinney Rd, Thorpe St Andrew, NR7 0PL - next to Londis.
