Christian author Whitehead speaks in Norwich

CharlesWhitehead267Charles Whitehead, the popular Christian author and speaker who has brought inspiration to audiences in many parts of the world, shared highlights of his story at a Christmas Dinner Evening at the Brook Hotel, Bowthorpe, Norwich, NR5 9JB  on Thursday, December 12.
This Christmas dinner was organised by the Norwich Chapter of  the Full Gospel Businessmen,  (FGB), part of a worldwide fellowship of Christian laymen in 130 countries. 
“It was specially good to hear Charles at the Christmas dinner because he a man of faith who relates well to people from all ages and backgrounds, Christians and non-Christians alike,” say the local organisers.
Charles Whitehead’s personal story has encouraged many people - he is a Catholic layman, and former businessman, who also “wears many hats”  including chairman of the International Charismatic Consultation.
With his Anglican wife, Sue, in 1994 he founded the annual “Celebrate” Family Conference and Weekends which bring together more than 5,000 people each year, almost half of whom are under 25 years of age.  In 2002, Pope John Paul II appointed him a Knight of St. Gregory in recognition of his service to the Church.
