Norwich city prayer space to be created

Prayer roomA new creative prayer space is being set up in Norwich and organisers are appealing for donations of materials to help create an inviting and comfortable environment.

The new prayer space will be located in the Norwich Youth For Christ (YFC) office on St Giles Street in the city. Youthworker Libby Redman said, "The space will be available for public use throughout the week when completed. We hope that this will bring people from different churches across the city together in prayer."

Norwich YFC would be appreciative of any contributions. They are particularly looking for the following items:

  • A shredder
  • A whiteboard or chalkboard
  • UV light
  • Neon paint
  • Beanbags
  • Netting
  • Screen barriers
  • Cushions
  • Fabric
  • Magnolia/Neutral Paint
  • Beanbags
  • Lights (particularly electric candles)

If you think you can help or would like to get involved in the project, then please email Libby at or call the office on 01603 620678.
