Kids' workers training day supports Norfolk churches
A training day for kids' workers across East Anglia is happening on April 29 for paid workers, volunteers, leaders and team members. The training will encourage and equip people so that they can go back to their own ministries with everything they have learnt.
New Wine and the Diocese of Norwich have joined up to run this event. Jonathan Richardson and Naomi Graham will be speaking at the event.
Jonathan is the Children, Youth and Families Development Officer for the Diocese of Norwich as well supporting his wife Steph with Integrate Youth For Christ near Thetford. He has a vision to see God's Kingdom come through the local Church in the East of England.
Naomi leads New Wine's Accessible Church ministry. She is an Occupational Therapist with a vision to make church more accessible to those with additional needs. Naomi is passionate to see all people included in God's kingdom and will help us to reflect that in the way that we do church.
As well as Jonathan and Naomi, there will be some practical and enlightening seminars lined up with awesome local speakers including Mission in Your Community, How To Do a Good Assembly and Challenging Behaviour.
Matt Schwarzenberger from FOL said, "This Kids Workers Training Day is a fantastic opportunity for children’s workers from across the region to network, worship together, be encouraged and practically equipped for their own local ministries."
