Christians in Politics

Christians in Politics is an all-party, non-denominational platform for Christians involved, or seeking to get involved, in politics and public life. 


 

CAFOD / CSAN

This election briefing from CAFOD and Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN) is inspired by Catholic Social Teaching  and offers four questions to ask parliamentary candidates ahead of the general election on tackling poverty at home and abroad.


Evangelical Alliance

The Evangelical Alliance’s 2017 election website will provide blogs, videos, interviews and resources including policy briefings and guides to voting and running hustings.


The Christian Institute

Has produced a 48-page briefing on the election, with a chapter on each party standing, including two fringe groups: The Christian Party and the Christian People’s Alliance.


The Joint Public Issues Team

Comprising the Baptist Union, the Methodists, the Church of Scotland, and the United Reformed Church — have put together their own briefing, suggesting Christians ask “Who is my neighbour?” when casting their ballot.
