Creative evangelism on Yarmouth streets

Former Baptist Union President Chris Duffett will at Park Baptist Church, in Great Yarmouth, at the end of August for an  evangelism initiative.

Chris, a town centre chaplain in Peterborough is passionate about using creative ways to share the love of Jesus with people on the streets. He is known for his whacky ideas to help you shine and he will be going out into Great Yarmouth with creative outreach on August 31.

“Chris will be joining Park Baptist Church with 1 or 2 of his team. It’ll be a brilliant chance for them to get out into the town and connect with people in new and creative ways” said Judith Edmunds from the church.

Chris Duffett’s passion is evangelism and art. He is also a Baptist minister and founder of The Light Project, a growing network of people who exist to reveal Jesus and train others in theology and evangelism. He served as President of the Baptist Union in 2012/3 where he encouraged as many churches as possible to be Big-Hearted enough to reach out to those around them with the good news of Jesus. He works for The Light Project full time which involves serving as the city centre chaplain in Peterborough, a mission enabler for some Churches, co-running lighthouse café, and is also involved in his local church in Cambourne.
