Waveney Foodbank offer van free to a good cause

A Norfolk-based Foodbank is offering to give away its old van, used for food distribution, for free to a worthy local charity or group after receiving a new van for its own work.

Waveney Foodbank Operations Manager, Matthew Scade, says he is happy to give the van away for free after the project took delivery of a new van for its own work.

The van is a 2002 Fiat Doblo two-litre TD with around 120,000 on the clock. It has an Mot valid until July and has had a new gearbox within the last six months

“We are offering the van free to a charity or not-for-profit group in either Norfolk or Suffolk,” said Matthew. “It needs to be collected from Eye, near Diss, and had been used as our Foodbank vehicle for the last four years.”

If you are interested, contact Matthew on 07498 318194 quoting the Network Norfolk website.
