Classical Reflection back at Trimingham church
The classical crossover soprano duo ‘Classical Reflection’ will be returning to Trimingham Church for a concert, along with the Broadland Youth Choir, on Saturday September 17. Tony Rothe reports.
The pair will be back in Trimingham by popular demand following a successful picnic concert back in June to celebrate the Queen’s ninetieth birthday. They also appeared at the Last Night of the Proms concert in Blickling Park on Saturday August 13.
21-year-old identical twins Naomi and Hannah have impressed audiences throughout the UK with their magical, moving and mesmerizing voices. Their close connection off stage allows them to create a very special sound which is as unique as their looks. As the girls point out "We believe our close connection as twins enables us to harmonise with one another in a way that's different to other duets, it's like singing with yourself".
In 2015 they appeared on BBC's The Voice, performing their rendition of Nella Fantasia accruing over 2.5 million views online. They went on to perform a unique version of the Mike and The Mechanics hit 'In The Living Years' with competition finalist Emmanuel Nwamadi. Both songs appeared as tracks on their debut album, 'The Vow', released earlier this year.
The concert in Trimingham Parish Church, Church Street, NR11 8EG will start at 7.30pm on Saturday September 17. Doors open at 7pm. Those wishing to come should book early, as spaces are limited. Tickets are £10, which includes wine and refreshments. Parking is available. There will also be an exciting raffle!
