New intake for Supernatural Life school in Norfolk
Inspired by the school at Bethel Church in Redding, California, and similar expressions in this country and a sense of calling from God, the School of Supernatural Life in Norfolk is now open for applications for the new term beginning Sept 2016.
The school is founded on the belief that Jesus demonstrated the normal Christian life and that as we follow him we should experience God’s Kingdom break out wherever we go. They believe every Christian is called to see the sick healed, the spiritually oppressed set free, the lost saved and the broken-hearted whole.
The aim of the school is to equip followers of Jesus Christ to enrich the Kingdom expression of their local church and radically change society through a naturally supernatural lifestyle of signs and wonders. This is achieved by creating a courageous community where the excellent Bible teaching is fully actualised in your life at work or education, in your family, in your community and church.
Each session has an emphasis on Spirit led worship and enjoying God’s presence as well as practical Bible teaching on how to take the Kingdom of God wherever you go. This will be a very safe environment to step over your fears with acts of faith and much opportunity to experiment and take risks.
The teaching will focus on: Your identity in Christ, Your Intimacy with Father, Your Impact in the world
The school celebrates enthusiastically every courageous step one takes and emphasise that success equals obedience, not necessarily the results of actions. There are also small groups to enable everyone to question and learn together and to receive and minister to one another.
Each term there will be opportunity to take what has been learnt out into the real world and work with local churches on their streets and in their communities.
“This course has helped me discover far more of the adventures God has for all of us outside the confines of our church walls” Student 2015-16
The school follows a normal academic pattern starting in September 2016 and ending with graduation in July 2017. The year starts with a Saturday together but will be followed by Tuesday evening sessions to make the school as accessible as possible. There will also be a termly experience of serving a local church in their mission.
An application form is available from the Hope Community Church office and the school asks for a deposit of £50. Similar schools in this country have fees in excess of £300 but Hope Community Church want this expression to be accessible to all and so keep fees as low as possible at £150 for the year and spread such costs over the first half of the course with the remaining £100 paid by 28 February 2017.
An endorsement of your application from a leader of your church will also be required
