Ash Kotecha to visit N Norfolk worship meeting

Ash Kotecha 466CFEvangelist Ash Kotecha will be the guest speaker at the Swanton Novers meeting of the Filling Station on May 23. All are welcome to come and hear him.

Ash was raised a Hindu in Malawi south-east Africa but came to faith in 1979 after a dramatic out-of- body experience. He went to Bible school where he met Sharon his wife and they have one daughter Esther. Ash was working as an assistant pastor when, in 1987, he and Sharon pioneered a church in Central London. Ten years later, when this had grown to around 200 people, they handed it over, as God was calling them to the evangelistic field.

Ash’s healing ministry, for which he is particularly well known, began soon after his conversion when he faced tremendous persecution from family and friends. When Ash’s father suffered a slipped disc in his back they blamed Ash for bringing a curse upon them and challenged his faith in Jesus. Ash prayed for his father who was instantly healed and gave his life to Christ. After that his sister in law was diagnosed with mouth cancer, but was also instantly healed and committed her life to Jesus. One by one family and friends received healing and turned to Christ, and the persecution stopped.

The Filling Station initiative, which started in the West Country, is explained by the founder and director, Rev’d  Richard Fothergill, on the main website: www.thefillingstation.org .  The website lists all Filling Stations, news and forthcoming events.
