Roughshod are designed to reach new audiences and take theatre into places where it doesn’t often go, bringing a dramatic tool-kit of performances, workshops, sketches and personal stories to every community they visit. Working in partnership with local base organisers Roughshod can work anywhere from a school to a shopping centre, church or prison. In the past Roughshod have also performed on aircraft carriers, in castles, care homes, coffee shops, universities, back gardens, homeless shelters, army bases, and even the odd theatre.
