Cromer Church has ‘A Passion for Life’

Cromer church 518ATCromer Parish Church with St Martin's is now in its seventh year of hosting ‘A Passion for Life’ – a range of outreach events taking place in the town during the run up to Easter and during Easter week.

Their aim is to take something of the celebration of Easter out into the community - to share it with them and invite them to join in.  By involving the community in celebrating Easter through all the various activities and events they hope to share something of God's love with those who live in, work in and visit Cromer

From serving the community in practical ways, to inviting people to consider the Easter message, there are many events taking place between 18 and 28 March, including services on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. All are welcome to attend these events.

Some highlights include:

  • Cromer@theCross – a dramatized re-enactment of the trial and death of Jesus in the church grounds
  • A time of Good Friday prayer and reflection
  • Easter Quest – for all ages to share the Good News of Good Friday, includes a free Easter Trail around the church and town
  • A Barn Dance
  • A Craft Stall in Cornerstone Café to raise funds for Aid Africa
  • Climb the church tower for free
  • Opportunities to pray and receive prayer with creative prayer stations in the church
  • An Easter dance Workshop
  • A free car wash in the church grounds

You can find a full list of events on the Cromer Church website.
