Rocking Bishop returns for Christmas!

The Rocking Bishop (AKA the Rt Revd Jonathan Meyrick, Bishop of Lynn) is releasing a single for Christmas. With words written by Bishop Jonathan and the music composed and played by Jamie Thurston, this is a follow up to their Charity CD collaboration in 2013 (Everlasting Smiles from the ‘60s).

BishopJonathanMeyrick450The song is called “All Will Turn Out Well”; it is produced locally by Dale Corcoran and released on JT Records.

The song relives the joy of the first Christmas night, and invites us to join the dance of the angels as they sing of the hope for our torn world brought by the birth of Jesus.

Half the profits from this venture will go to children’s charities, locally and internationally. The charities benefitting from the single are: Save The Children, East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH), Break, The Norfolk Hospice – Tapping House and the Diocese of Norwich.

Speaking of the song, Bishop Jonathan said, “I hope this song will take us back to the mystery of the first Christmas night. The mystery lies in the belief that God's answer to the world's problems is to join us in all their desperate depths, and to say 'You find me in weakness and vulnerability'. It is because of this that we can have hope all will turn out well. I think that Jamie's melodic and catchy tune enhances this simple message beautifully.”

“All Will Turn Out Well” by The Rocking Bishop is available to download now for £1.49 from the Diocese of Norwich online shop: http://shop.dioceseofnorwich.org/products/audio
