John to tell of real gift at Norwich talk

JohnHarrison350John Harrison, who for years repaired aircraft with the RAF in Europe and Asia -  until he discovered his real gift was helping people in need -  will share his unusual story at a city-centre lunch-hour  meeting in Norwich on Thursday,  June 24, at 1pm.

“I was really more interested in people than machines,” says John who took the radical step to retrain in the medical field – where he also met his future wife, Joyce, as they trained on the wards as medical students.

Both became well-known health visitors in Norwich where John was also team leader in the city with Forces Help’, a national charity serving ex-service men and women and their families.

As a teenager, John came to faith in Christ the ministry of UK evangelist of Eric Hutchings. Today, John uses his pastoral gifting as a Lay Reader in the Church of England.
