Marcus to tell of South Asian adventures

MarcusPhilpott350Marcus Philpott, a Norwich technical author-turned-evangelist to the Philippines, was the guest speaker at the FGBMFI lunch for people working in the city. It took place at 1pm on Thursday, September 24, at the Maid’s Head Hotel, Norwich.

Marcus, a gifted singer and Bible teacher, has just completed another 14,000-mile ministry trip to south-east Asia. Speaking in English and Spanish, he also has an online teaching and interactive teaching ministry that reaches students worldwide from his office in Bowthorpe.

He also believes that God heals the sick and was himself healed of a heart condition before his latest extensive speaking tour in the Philippines. He says, “I’ve had enough experiences of the Living God to prove that he is a present reality in my life.”

MarcusMinistryThe informal 25-minute talk by Marcus on September 24 is one of a regular series of monthly lunchtime events organised by the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship at the Maid’s Head Hotel in Tombland.

These inspirational lunches, from 1 to 2pm, are planned largely for people who work in the city and are designed to fit into a standard lunch hour with a half-hour meal, followed by a talk.

The cost is £6 (with free parking at the back of the hotel) and all are welcome. To reserve your place, contact Robert Ross on 01603 631 050 (office number) or email robert@positive.selection.com or mwiltshire4@aol.com .
